AI limits
Current status
Live receipt/income AI, text parsing and voice transcription are paused pending provider privacy review. Manual records, expense receipt attachments and browser-based CSV suggestions remain available. Demo samples are fictional, not live extraction.
Historical providers
Receipt images previously used BytePlus ModelArk with a Lovable AI gateway fallback. Income/voice used the gateway with OpenAI-labelled models. Historical retention/training is unverified; stopping new processing does not delete provider-held copies.
No tax decisions
Personalized deduction outputs and payable-tax predictions are removed. Categories and business allocation do not establish eligibility. No IRS approval, audit-proof result or replacement for a CPA is promised.
Review required
Bank suggestions are merchant-name matches, not AI. Confirm spending direction and USD, and review each purchase. Missing values stay blank. Check computed net against actual take-home pay.
Before AI reopens
Recipients/fallback, retention/training, security arrangements, quotas and informed submission controls must be verified before live AI reopens.
